Selena Gomez says Justin understands fame game

Selena Gomez says one of the great things about dating Justin Bieber is he can empathise with her career issues.

The 'Monte Carlo' star has been dating the 17-year-old singer since March and she admits it's great to be able to share her problems with someone who knows what she is going through.

She said: "I have friends who are in the business, and I have friends who are not in the business. It's good to have people who understand what you are going through, which applies to him. But it's also nice to have someone to talk to about real life, so it's good to have a balance of both It's just nice to have someone who understands."

Selena insists nothing is more important to her than her friends and family and she prioritises her personal relationships over her career.

When asked what makes her happy, she replied: "My family, my fans, my friends, they're the whole point of living for me."

The 19-year-old beauty insists one of the best things about her relationship with Justin is that they spend so much of their time together laughing.

She told Britain's OK! magazine: "We laugh so hard. It's like when you laugh so hard your stomach hurts."
