Selena Gomez turns down 'Fifty Shades of Grey' role

Selena Gomez was one of the many celebrities who poked fun at the erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey last month.

The parody was titled 50 Shades of Blue and appeared on Funny or Die.com. Before Gomez worked on the parody, she had to read the book. What she saw left her speechless.

Looks like Disney doesnt prepare its stars for erotic literature sketches.

Many actresses in Hollywood are obsessed with Fifty Shades of Grey due to reports that it will soon be made into a movie. You wont find this teen queen reading the script anytime soon.

I know Im taking risks, but I dont think I could do that! she told MTV News. That would be a little too much for me. I think someone older should do that part.

Spicy literature wont be on her resume, but Gomezs next projects show just how much shes growing up. She will be sporting a bikini in the movie Spring Breakers and is set to work on her next album.

Gomez says she is missing music and wants to work with different producers as well as a new style of music.

As for growing older, Gomez wants to remain forever young.

By the time it comes out, Ill almost be 21, so I want to be able to-wow, that sounds really scary!-I want it to be older.
