Selena Gomez says her next album is a 'tell-all'

Selena Gomez says her next album will be very personal

Selena Gomez and her band, The Scene, stepped away from the studio for a while so that the 19-year-old actress and singer could put more of a focus on her acting career. After shooting three new films, Selena is ready to get back in the studio.

Selena Gomez attended the Katy Perry: Part of Me premiere this week and opened up about starting work on her fourth studio album. She revealed that her new album will be a lot more personal. She says it will be like a tell-all.

"I have a thousand ideas," she told MTV News "This album is going to be the first one that I'm actually going to spend as long as I want it can be two months, it could be a whole year before this album comes out so I'm going to have my freedom with it. It'll be, like, my tell-all, in a way."

For fans hoping to hear a song about boyfriend Justin Bieber, she says she will open up more about experiences rather than people.

"I'm going to be able to talk about things that I've never really talked about before, just because the last records have been really rushed, so I'm just excited to be able to take my time with it."

Gomez has said her new album will be very different from past albums. She wants it to be more mature since she is growing up. She says she wants to work with different producers and has a few dream collaborations in mind, including collaborating with fun. and Taylor Swift.

I just want to do different things for this album," she said. "By the time it comes out, I'll almost be 21, soI want it to be older."
