Selena Gomez stars in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' parody - See video

A day after the cast of "Snow White and the Huntsman" read passages from the erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey," Selena Gomez parodied the book in a video for FunnyorDie.com.

The parody, titled "Fifty Shades of Blue," and can be seen below. Comedian Nick Kroll plays Gomez's love interest, an artist named Carl Blue.

In the video, Gomez is seen reading "Fifty Shades of Grey" before answering the door and setting eyes on Carl Blue, a man with a terrible hacking cough and acne-riddled face. Gomez's desire is a little one sided.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is New York Times best-selling novel by E. L. James. It is part of a trilogy and follows the story of recent college graduate Anastasia Steele who falls in love with a young but troubled millionaire named Christian Grey.

Gomez, a former Disney star who rose to fame on "The Wizards of Waverly Place," has been dating singer Justin Bieber for over a year. They first sparked dating rumors in December 2010, when they were photographed at an IHOP in Philadelphia.

Gomez will next appear opposite James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens in "Spring Breakers," about four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant to pay their spring break adventures. They get bailed out by a drug and arms dealer (Franco) who wants them to pay him back by doing his dirty work.
