Selena Gomez: 'I treasure Taylor Swift, Vanessa Hudgens friendships'
Gomez has spoken publicly about her friendship with Swift many times, most recently describing the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer as one of the few girls she can trust.

She once again opened up about her closest friends over the weekend, following an acoustic concert to benefit UNICEF in New York City.
"It's helped [me] having Taylor and Vanessa both be older than me," Gomez explained to People, adding: "They've kind of experienced a little bit more, and at the same time we're experiencing the exact same things together."

The star! added of Swift and Hudgens: "It's nice just to be able to pick up the phone and be like, 'Ugh, I had this person say this and it's annoying', and have someone understand and really get what you're going through.
"I think that's [our] main connection. I just enjoy having people in the business in my life because it helps."

"I feel like I want to be her," she said. "She's been such an incredible person, and she's fantastic in [Spring Breakers]. She's a really good friend."
Spring Breakers - which is directed by Harmony Korine and also stars James Franco - opens on March 22 in the US. A UK release has not yet been announced.
