Screening Room: Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lawrence, & Selena Gomez All Tackle New Roles
Kept under tight wraps like the operation that inspired it, Zero Dark Thirty released a teaser trailer this week, offering a first real look at the film detailing the Seal Team 6 hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Due out December 19th, Kathryn Bigelow will look to recreate the magic that won her last film, The Hurt Locker, the Best Picture Academy Award in 2008. That movie was an introspective exploration of the addictive nature of war for thrill-seeking soldiers. It'll be interesting to see what Bigelow does with the story of the clandestine operation that killed the former Al Qaeda leader and 9/11 mastermind. I was hoping Sacha Baron Cohen might play Bin Laden, but no such luck.
