Selena Gomez had a day off this week, after spending much of her weekend filming her new movie Parental Guidance, and spent her downtime having lunch at Century City mall with a gal pal. Looks like beau Justin Bieber was a little too busy rehearsing to take time out to dine with her.

Gomez was spotted at the mall in ripped jeans and a sweet off white blouse. She didn't exactly looked thrilled to see the cameras after dining with a friend, but who wants to be photographed after a meal anyway?

Gomez has been working long hours recently, so it's nice that she had a little free time. On top of filming, she's been pushing her KMart/DOL Back to School campaign and announced she's partnering with Fergie and Common on the CaseMate campaign. Meanwhile, the Biebs has also had a full plate these days. He's getting ready for the Believe world tour, and you'd better believe he's been singing and dancing all day and all night in preparation for the big! show!

Hopefully these two will be able to spend some quality time together in the next few weeks before Bieber hits the road!
