NM Selena Gomez banned from Facebook

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Selena Gomez has been banned from Facebook .

The only problem is the fact that it's not the famous Selena Gomez , the actress and girlfriend of Justin Bieber, but it is a girl from New Mexico with the same name.

The New Mexican 18-year-old is Selena Miranda Gomez.

She told media outlet TMZ she tried to sign into her Facebook account Wednesday, but was denied saying her account was disabled for being inauthentic.

But the New Mexico teen says she was not impersonating the famous actress, even saying she put her middle name on her Facebook page to clear up any confusion.

From our own search, it looks like Gomezs account has now been reactivated.
