Just because she doesn't know exactly what it will smell like yet, doesn't mean Selena Gomez doesn't already know the general mood of her to-be-released new perfume. From the looks of this behind-the-scenes shot Sel posted to her Facebook page, somehow a giant fish tank of pink-and-purple water is involved. In a BIG way. Girl gets dunked (or more likely, hoisted and gently lowered via a Swarovski-laden swing) into a vat of the girly hued liquid for her fragrance campaign.
Dressed in a now-drenched floaty eggplant gown with a sweetheart neckline, Selena bucks the need for a hair stylist because well, what's the point when you're going to be flippy-flopping around in your own personal aquarium all day, AMIRITE? We're going to go out on a limb based on this image ALONE (I know, risky speculative business) and predict! that th e perfume adverts will portray Selena's yet-to-be determined (*achem* also, currently nameless) fragrance as striking the right balance between refreshing ( la water), femininity (the Pretty Pretty Princess color palette), and regal richesse (ROYAL purple floor-length swaddlings). But knowing Selena and her hallmark uber-relatability, it will also gracefully tightrope between aspirational and accessible because hi, superstar bombshell next door is totally her M.O.
