Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber to front new ad together

Selena Gomez is set to work alongside Justin Bieber.

The Who Says singer, 20, has confirmed she is set to become the new face of adidas's NEO label new style icon.

It comes just one month after Justin - who she recently reconciled with after dumping him two weeks ago - announced he was teaming up with the sportswear giant to inspire young consumers with the label's stylish and fresh teen looks.

The young actress is set to be even more involved than the Canadian popstar, 18, as she plans to design her own collection of sports shoes, clothing and accessories, as well as front new campaigns for the brand early next year alongside the As Long As You Love Me singer.

Selena told Teen Vogue magazine she was slightly overwhelmed by the brand but is looking forward to ! learning more about design.

"They know what's going to happen in 2014. They know all the hip stuff, so I almost feel like the underdog coming in and learning about the whole design process," she said.

Justin and Selena's love affair has been rocky recently but they have been trying to get their relationship back on track in recent days after battling trust issues.

And while the actress - who is currently battling a throat infection while she records her fourth album - is preparing for a very busy 2013, she admitted she is looking forward to settling into her twenties.

She said she has recently learnt to not "stress as much".

"Every little thing seems like the end of the world, and it's hard to step back and look at the bigger picture. That's what I'm learning to do," she said.

'Not easy' being in the spotlight

Meanwhile, Justin has admitted it isn't easy coping with all the attention surrounding his reconciliation with Selena.

The couple enjoyed a romantic dinner in Los Angeles earlier this week amid reports their reunion is still rocky.

Shortly before their date the Boyfriend singer admitted to Oprah Winfrey on Twitter that he finds growing up in the spotlight tough after she compared him to Michael Jackson.

"Growing up in front of everyone is not easy," he posted.

His date with Selena came just one day after they were spotted hand in hand at the star-studded after party for the American Music Awards in Los Angeles before leaving the bash at the Marriott Downtown Hotel together.

The duo - who have been dating! for almo! st two years - have had a tumultuous time recently because of trust issues and reports he spent time with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin in New York earlier this month.

Selena stormed out of a restaurant 10 minutes after sitting down with Justin because they had a huge argument on Friday.

She drove home alone but the singer followed her and she refused to let him enter her property.

His white Ferrari was spotted at her house the next morning suggesting they made up overnight.

But despite spending lots of time together over the last two days, sources told gossip website TMZ.com that their relationship is by no means stable.
