Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani, Holland Roden And More Are Best Dressed Of The 2012 Teen Choice Awards
As if it weren't obvious enough already from the surf boards they give out as prizes, the Teen Choice Awards show is ALL about having fun. Lucky for us, the show's carefree summertime mentality also translated into some equally awesome outfits for everyone who was lucky enough to attend. All of our faves turned out on the red-sorry, pink- carpet, from Selena to Taylor to Holland to No Doubt (continuing their epic return, yesss!). And while it's tough to narrow all the styles down to our top ten, someone's gotta do it. Check out our official Best Dressed list below!

Between steamy magazine covers and starring in her sultry perfume commercial, there's no question that Selena Gomez is all grown up. But for Teen Choice, she looked the part of, well, a teenager, in a bright pink DSQUARED2 dress. Between the mini's skater silhouette, her long, straight hair, and smokey eye makeup, Selena looked like a young, fresh, modern-day Barbie. We love the no-fuss hair and makeup, and how Selena opted for absolutely zero jewelry. This is proof that you don't have to be totally over-the-top to still look! totally gorgeous.

You didn't think that we'd really leave the show's host off the Best Dressed list, did you? No way, and Demi Lovato has earned her spot in a daring Falguni + Shane Peacock dress. Embellished with beads, leather details, and feathers at the hem, this geometric frock definitely has a lot going on- so we're happy Demi kept things simple in the beauty department with a slick high ponytail. After spotting the X-Factor judge rocking serious Topshop on the road, we're pumped to see her pushing the boundaries.

Calling Captain Obvious: Taylor Swift loves to dress girly. She stuck with what works- pale colors, a feminine cut, and her trademark black eyeliner- for Teen Choice, and we're (obviously) into it. But while the light pink Maria Lucia Hohan dress may LOOK like your everyday TSwift staple, take a second glance and you'll see she's sporting side cutouts, one of the major carpet trends of the night. If you ask us, details like this make her outfit stand out from Taylor's arsenal of pretty little dresses.
Holland Roden at the Teen Choice Awards.Photo: Getty Images
We obsessed over Holland Roden's amazing Veronica Lake-esque look at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this summer, and now the actress is back with another Best Dressed-worthy ensemble. Her flared Alice and Olivia dress is a retro-tinged take on the floral trends that's been popping on the runways since practically forever. She stayed classic with the rest of her outfit, pairing the dress with nude Christian Louboutin pumps, a simple belt, and a half-back hairstyle.

Oh Kat Graham, how we love you. The girl known for rocking head-to-toe prints like nobody's business stayed true to form tonight in a sleeveless Mara Hoffman minidress. The neon Aztec-inspired print looks amazing against the neutral base hue, and Kat played the mix-match game like a star with blue and purple Gio Diev pumps and a cream-colored clutch. Well done!
Lea Michele at the Teen Choice Awards.Photo: Getty Images
We should've known something was up when we spotted Lea Michele chilling front row at Versace's Haute Couture fashion show earlier this month. For Teen Choice the Glee star wore a strapless floral print frock from the Italian design house, complete with a sweetheart neckline and subtle peplum accents. Lea took cues from the show's surfer vibe with beachy waves (it IS California, after all!) and fresh makeup.
Victoria Justice at the Teen Choice Awards.Photo: Getty Images
Hello, trend alert! Just like our girl Holland Roland, Victoria Justice also rocked a half-back hairstyle and belted outfit. But that's about the only similarity here, because tonight the Victorious star struck her own style note in a multi-colored animal print dress from Gomez-Gracia. She secured the breezy, lightweight high-low skirt with a leather belt studded with none other than Swarovski crystals...NBD. Never one to forget details (ju! st peep her adorable 'V' mag spread if you need a refresher on Vic's accessory game), she topped it all off with Lauren Merkin's rectangular clutch.
No Doubt at the Teen Choice Awards.Photo: Getty Images
They've been away for 10 YEARS, GUYS, so it's only appropriate that No Doubt looked the part of total rockstars at their red carpet reunion tonight. Gwen obviously looked fabulous in her '90s-meets-modern getup of black skinnies, a leather vest, and some sick cat-eye shades. Seriously, can she GET any cooler? (Um, no way.) The rest of the band looked equally killer in sleek suits, repping Doc Martens and multicolored oxfords in the footwear department. Now that the finally is officially back in full force, it's almost like they never even left...
Nikki Reed at the Teen Choice Awards.Photo: Getty Images
We can always count on Nikki Reed to turn out in full fashion force (remember her epic gold minidress from MTV Movie Awards?), and spoiler alert! This time is no different. Tonight the actress, writer, and producer worked a Contrarian NY top! and ski rt, Brian Atwood heels, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and a Bing Bang ring. We love how she kept things simple up top (messy ponytail, no necklace) so that the deep v-neckline steals the spotlight.
Nina Dobrev at the Teen Choice Awards.Photo: Getty Images
Nina Dobrev has always been a fan of slinky, body-con numbers, but she mixed things up a bit at Teen Choice with a teal J.Mendel dress that's somehow body-con AND structural. She paired the strapless number with gold jewelry and metallic sandals. Oh, and braids- they're totally back!
