Justin Bieber has sparked Selena Gomez split rumours after declaring his love for actress Emma Stone on Twitter.
Following reports that his relationship with Selena was "not solid", the 18-year old gushed about The Amazing Spider-Man actress during his 'random Twitter hour' on the social-networking site.
The Boyfriend singer tweeted: "Emma Stone I love you. Didnt know you werent really a redhead."
Justin also joked about going "skinny dipping" in Melbourne during his Twitter hour, but later deleted the message.
Sources have since told Life & Style magazine that Gomez 'broke down in tears' during a restaurant trip with her friends in California, with reports suggesting Biebs has called time on their romance.
An insider claimed: "Selena and some girlfriends came in for lunch, and she was in a serious mood. I overheard them talking about how she and Justin had broken up.
"She was being consoled by her friends. She was in tears for 72 hours, saying Justin was ov! er the r elationship and wanted to be single.
The Metro also reports that during his promotional trip Down Under, Australian press were asked not to quiz the 18-year old over his relationship with Gomez.
Despite the reports, Justin and Selena were seen arriving in Aus together, being snapped getting off a private jet in Sydney.
