Selenas new movie, the first horror movie of her career, has finally released its trailer to the world! Click to watch if you dare!

The trailer for Aftershock, the latest of Selena Gomezs movies that see the actress stepping outside of her usual family-friendly fare, has been released on the Internet, finally, on Dec. 21. The film, co-written by scream king Eli Roth, looks to be a terrifying horror film!

While Selenas role remains under wraps nary a glimpse of the former Disney actress is provided in the trailer the film looks to be great, scary fun! In it, co-writer Eli takes an acting role, playing a tourist in Chile who survives a major earthquake, only for the real horrors to begin!

Earlier this year, Selena spoke with MTV about her appearance in the film and how it came to be. I was in Chile doing a concert, she explained, and [Eli] was shooting a movie called Aftershock and he asked if I wanted to make a cameo. And I did!

Selena continues, Its actually a very funny scene with him and I improving. And its cute. Well, I mean, the movies not cute. Its actually scary, but the scene was cute. While her appearance in the film may be brief, she explained that shes eager to have another opportunity to work with ELi.

And so we kind of became friends and hopefully well be able to work together again. [Hes] very smart.

Smart boys seem to be important to Selena since dating Justin Bieber. The actress recently celebrated the birthday of very smart friend, and fellow UNICEF volunteer, Ronan Farrow in Los Angeles on Dec. 16. A photo of the two getting extra-cuddly was leaked to the Internet and caused quite a stir, though it appeared to be quite innocent.

Aftershock is set to be released sometime in 2013.
